Her original multi-cam TWO MOMS AND A DAD placed her on WeForShe’s 2020 Writers to Watch list, her animated pilot ALIEN GIRL was a Finalist in Universal’s 2021 animation writers program, and her comedy SHE BEASTS was in the top 2% of 600+ submissions for WWFC’s 2023 pilot accelerator. As a Senior Creative, she launched Barbie’s official TikTok, spearheaded viral social campaigns for TikTok’s social good team, and wrote over 50 1M+ view YouTube videos for Disney Princess.
After years performing improv at UCB and Second City, Tess built an emotional wellness and storytelling brand, amassing 440,000+ engaged followers across TikTok, Instagram, Threads, and Twitter. As a creator, she has partnered with brands like Reformation, TOMS, and Meta AI. @Tessplease is her creative outlet, and she loves applying what she learns online to her professional work.
She got her start as a Writers’ PA for Netflix’s “Jessica Jones,” after graduating cum laude with a double major in Political Science and Gender Studies from Colorado College.
